Provided funds for Chief Medrano and one staff member to attend the California Police Chiefs Conference in San Jose. This conference is a once a year opportunity for Chiefs to receive training on current law enforcement topics.

#10-02 Baker to Vegas Relay 2010

Funding to sponsor the Gardena Police Department Team's participation in the 2010 "Baker to Vegas" Challenge Cup, a 120-mile law enforcement relay race, designed to promote physical fitness and teamwork amongst officers and to create a stronger police force.
