A commitment to safety in Gardena
Leaders from the Gardena business community have come together to fundraise, with a commitment to see the City of Gardena become one of the safest cities in the South Bay. The Gardena Police Foundation is a 501(c)3 non-profit corporation that provides supplemental resources directly to the Gardena Police Department and the Gardena community in the form of grant funds to improve public safety operations, provide resources to the public, and enhance youth programs and community outreach.

The Foundation relies solely on the generous contributions of individuals, businesses, philanthropic organizations and its Board of Directors to meet specific grant requests from the Police Department and community.
The Foundation’s funding priorities are advanced equipment and technology for the Gardena Police Department, training for Officers, crime prevention, Gardena Police Explorers, scholarships for local youth, community relations, and various youth programs.

2024 Golf Classic
The Gardena Police Foundation hosts an annual Golf Classic. The day includes golf at Friendly Hills Country Club, networking, a great raffle and other games, food and drink tastings on the course, and much more. Proceeds from this day benefit the annual Scholarship Program and other philanthropy opportunities throughout the Gardena community.
