The Gardena Police Department is privileged to enjoy outstanding community support. The Gardena Police Foundation is an excellent example of our many community-police partnerships. The Foundation is comprised of generous and committed business leaders who are dedicated to improving public safety by providing direct financial support to the Gardena Police Department in the form of grant funds.

The Gardena Police Foundation has played a major role in providing additional resources directly to the Police Department, which allows our organization the ability to be innovative in our service delivery and to acquire modern specialized equipment.

We take great pride in being at the cutting edge of law enforcement and strive to be the premier law enforcement agency in our region. With the support of the Police Foundation, our ability to press the limits of creativity while serving the needs of the community is significantly enhanced. In addition, the Gardena Police Foundation supports our employees by providing resources for special departmental and team-building events.

I would like to acknowledge the leadership of our City Council and City Manager for their continued confidence and support of the Police Department and for allowing us to capitalize on the resources of the City and Foundation to advance our goals.

The men and women of the Gardena Police Department are truly fortunate to have a philanthropic Foundation that supports public safety and the mission and vision of our organization.
