The Gardena Police Department is privileged to have the strong and enduring support of our community. A shining example of this partnership is the Gardena Police Foundation—an organization made up of dedicated, civic-minded business leaders committed to enhancing public safety in our city.

The Foundation’s mission is to provide direct financial support to the Gardena Police Department through grants and contributions. These funds allow us to explore innovative approaches to policing, acquire advanced technology, and invest in specialized equipment that would otherwise be beyond the reach of our operating budget.

Over the years, the Gardena Police Foundation has played a vital role in strengthening our operational capabilities and service delivery. Their support enables us to remain on the leading edge of modern law enforcement practices, ensuring we can meet the evolving needs of our community with creativity, professionalism, and effectiveness.

In addition to supporting public safety initiatives, the Foundation also contributes to the well-being of our personnel by funding special departmental events, wellness programs, and team-building activities that foster camaraderie and resilience among our staff.

We are especially grateful to our City Council and City Manager for their leadership and continued support. Their commitment allows us to fully leverage the combined resources of the City and the Foundation in pursuit of our strategic goals.
